Jumbo Home Loans
Jumbo home loans are home loan mortgages that typically are one million dollars or more in size. We are currently working on several home loan applications for over two million dollars and in fact can do home loans as high as $4million dollars.
Jumbo home loans can be less than one million dollars, and go to over 2 million dollars.
They are called Jumbo home loans for two reasons. The first reason is the obvious one that these home loans are much larger than the average home loan [around $250,000].
The second reason is that Jumbo home loans have a higher lending ration than traditional bank loans, with loans over $2 million dollars at up to 80% LVR. This is very high for such a large loan on one property.
